Penny is a commercial lawyer with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, China-related practice, and general corporate and commercial matters.

Prior to joining ELLALAN, Penny was an Associate at Mayer Brown (now JSM), where she advised clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring transactions. Her practice focused on foreign direct investment into China and private M&A deals. She also worked as a knowledge management specialist at Sullivan & Cromwell in Hong Kong.

Penny holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (Dean's Honors List) from The University of Hong Kong. She was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2004.

Penny is fluent in Cantonese, English, Mandarin and Shanghainese.
