We are delighted to welcome Penny Lau back to ELLALAN as a Consultant in our Corporate, Commercial & TMT Team. Penny was previously with the firm between 2017 and 2019, and now returns bringing her experience in corporate, commercial and transactional matters.

Penny is a seasoned corporate lawyer specialising in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, foreign direct investment into the PRC, and general corporate and commercial matters. With over a decade of transactional experience, she has advised on high-value deals spanning infrastructure, aviation, insurance, logistics, consumer goods, real estate, and branding/technical support arrangements.

She began her career as a trainee solicitor at one of Hong Kong’s largest law firms, and later worked at international firms and in corporate knowledge management roles. Penny brings more than ten years of accumulated transactional, operational and advisory experience that further strengthens our corporate and commercial capabilities.
