On 28 June 2023, our Managing Partner, Alan Chiu and our Associate of our Corporate, Commercial and TMT team, Delphine Tse, had the pleasure of giving an insightful seminar on the topic of “Artificial Intelligence and Data Privacy – Issues and Challenges in the Banking Industry ” to The Bank of East Asia, Limited (BEA).

Around 200 attendees joined us for an engaging discussion on the legal risks and challenges that banks may face in the adoption of AI technology. To make the topic more relatable, Alan and Delphine demonstrated two common generative AI products, showcasing the power and potential of AI in transforming the way banks operate. They ended the seminar by sharing some practical tips on how to be AI-ready. We are glad to know that the attendees find the seminar informative and helpful!
