Earlier this month, Simon Wong, Partner, was invited to attend the launching ceremony of the “Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme” co-hosted by HKFTU Greater Bay Area Social Services and the Hong Kong United Youth Association. The ceremony was held in support of the Hong Kong Government’s policy to encourage and support young Hong Kong graduates to find employment in the GBA, through means of a seminar on entrepreneurship and employment in the GBA.Simon was invited to be a speaker at the ceremony to share legal tips and recommendations on avoiding being cheated when trying to obtain tenancy in the GBA. The ceremony was held in person with over 40 people in attendance.The ceremony’s attendees also heard from officials from the Labour and Welfare Bureau, Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions, Hong Kong United Youth Association, HKFTU Greater Bay Area Social Services, The Hong Kong Management Association.
