We are delighted to share that our Partner, Valerie Suen, has been appointed President of the Hong Kong Institute of Trade Mark Practitioners (HKITMP).
HKITMP is a long-established professional body founded in 1988 to represent trade mark practitioners in Hong Kong. It plays an important role in engaging with the Intellectual Property Department and safeguarding the interests of trade mark owners. HKITMP also serves as a platform for dialogue between practitioners and government bodies, promotes improvements in trade mark and intellectual property law, and supports training and knowledge sharing across the profession.
Valerie’s appointment reflects her deep expertise and longstanding commitment to the advancement of trade mark law and practice in Hong Kong. Her leadership will help further HKITMP’s mission and strengthen Hong Kong’s position as a leading centre for IP protection.
Her new role also aligns with our firm’s long-standing commitment to supporting the IP community, promoting best practices, and contributing to the continued development of trade mark law in Hong Kong.
Please join us in congratulating Valerie on this well-deserved recognition of her contribution to the IP community!
