On 27 December 2025, China released a draft amendment to the PRC Trademark Law for public consultation. Compared with the sweeping proposals in 2023, the latest draft takes a more measured approach — focusing on procedural efficiency, strengthening protection against bad-faith filings, and targeted refinements to the existing regime.
