As part of our mission to promote the IP legal practice and to make IP protection more accessible to everyone, our Managing Partner, Alan Chiu, and our Associate, James Choi were delighted to share a wide range of topics in IP to SMEs in Hong Kong, and introducing means to enforce their IP rights in Hong Kong and China, including issuance of cease & desist letters, custom recordal, and performing online take-downs.

The three-hour seminar was well-received, and we exchanged views with the participants on how to better protect our IP rights in the ever-changing business landscape. The participants also learnt how to deal with shadow companies and tackle cybersquatters who register domains in bad faith.
