Michelle is an Associate at ELLALAN.

Michelle has been in trademark practice for over 10 years. She started her career as a trademark paralegal in the Intellectual Property Department of Deacons, where she also handled copyright and domain name matters. She furthered her career as an Associate in the Intellectual Property Department of another established local firm before joining ELLALAN.

Over the last decade, Michelle worked closely with various seasoned IP professionals on IP portfolios of many MNCs, diversely spanning across industries including fashion and luxury goods, food and beverages, electronics, automobiles, technologies and professional services. Her practice includes IP portfolios management, branding strategies, pre-action investigations, anti-counterfeiting and enforcement actions, and commercial IP matters.

Michelle is currently on secondment to a leading global fintech giant. This in-house experience equips her with a client-POV mindset that sharpens her approach when offering tailored and pragmatic advice.

Michelle is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
