Yara obtained her Bachelor of Laws from Central South University of Forestry and Technology in Mainland China, and later completed her Master of Laws at City University of Hong Kong. She has passed the National Legal Professional Qualification Examination (Chinese Bar).

During her studies, she gained practical experience through four internships with litigation teams at PRC law firms and a criminal division of a procuratorate, which provided her with a foundational understanding of litigation practice and criminal justice procedures.

She joined us as a paralegal in 2026.

She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
